Residents are being encouraged to try out new sports during Brent Open Sports Club Fortnight, which runs from August 25 to September 8.

People are invited to visit one of the borough's many sports clubs to try a new game or discipline for free.

Activities on offer include cricket, tae kwon do, tennis, football, netball and rugby. All sessions are open to all ages and sexes and there is no need to book.

For further details please contact Jenny Green, at Brent Council Sports Service on 020 8937 3716 or visit www.brent.gov.uk/sports.

We'd like to hear from you.
