A young driver who broke his leg when his car hit a tree in Kenton this morning (Friday) had to be rescued by firefighters.
The crash happened at the junction of Kenton Lane and Kingfisher Close just before 7am.
Firefighters from Stanmore Fire Station's blue watch used the 'jaws of life' to cut the roof off the vehicle and freeing the man took 50 minutes.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 6.50am and we sent an ambulance and the air ambulance.
"A man reported to be 18 years old was taken by road to Northwick Park Hospital with a leg injury."

We'd like to hear from you.
